When we walked the dog in the park last night, it was deserted. Really eerie, as if the cops had been enforcing the posted closing time, but no cops either, and the streets were quiet, too. It was even quiet on the expressway when the housemate drove me to work (the Sunday bus schedule doesn't work). I asked the co-worker I was relieving what was up and he said it was some football game.
