Roller coaster weather again; we are promised a warm weekend and rain on Monday. Hope it pans out.
No cat sightings at all today except for Mama Violet, tough old thing, who was lurking waiting for her breakfast. There were more workmen, but not as noisy. The dog woke me insistently again, so maybe they were noisy early in the morning.

It's going to get up to 91°F, here, today. Thank the gods and all relations that I've gotten the Air Conditioning running again. About the same, tomorrow, then our temperatures go back to what they should be for this time of year. But we're riding the same roller coaster. Severe drought, and half the state's afire.
Meanwhile Evie's demanding treatz, and I've been firmly informed by Cattenz that holding two cattentails, simultaneously is simply not done! "It's weird!" I'm also apparently prodroming. What a delightful day. 😹

I watered assiduously and on my walk passed a guy liberally soaping his car. So we can hope for rain. But I caught sight yesterday of meadows among the oaks on the foothills off to the south. Still green. Such a rare sight. Usually it's either too hazy or too cloudy even when the grass isn't sere; I had a moment's regret that rainclouds will take that view away again. Oh well :-)
