I blóted for Éostre, later in the day than was proper. I stood barefoot on the grass, looking up at almost unbroken blue sky. I was wearing sunglasses, so I could see a streak off to my left made up of tiny puffs of cloud; probably once a contrail. Another appeared beside it. Then I realised there were two bright silver dots in the sky slightly to my right, high up and not side by side, one higher than the other. The left one may have had a streak extending from it, but I wasn't sure. I couldn't resolve them into either weather balloons or killer drones. Gulls flew between them and me, whiter. They were slowly moving east relative to me. If satellites, awfully low and awfully close to each other. They messed up my concentration.

Hmm. The Sky indicates that both of the currently visible comets are visible in the evening, rather than morning, and would require binoculars to observe. Might be aircraft refuelling in-air. The trail might be a fuel dump. But this is speculation based on second-hand observations, so who knows?
