Last night's bus broke down on the way to work. I hoofed it to the next express stop in time to catch an express, then hoofed it again from the express stop before work, but was too late to get a coffee before dashing in the door. This morning I missed the earlier bus home, caught the regular one, and at the stop before mine, there was the early bus crammed at an awkward angle after a badly positioned street work area, with two cops investigating it. Ours stopped several yards further on and the remaining passengers scuttled to get on.

Great bus service they provide. I hope they at least let the marooned passengers without passes board without paying another $2. (There are no transfers.)
