It's forecast to dip below freezing tonight, and it does feel chilly outside. I've decided not to try to cover any plants, but I've removed the huge cardboard box from the papasan chair in the back porch room so that if that grey cat wants a place to lie, it has one. And I just dug out my gloves.

Day before yesterday we were 15 miles from the Freeze Line. This was good since we'd gone to a family dinner and by the time we got home I was to pooped to do any Protecting;>.
In a way I'm lucky. Last Winter we had a storm that blew open the door to the shed I was storing my tender plants and it got into the teens(at least outside). Lost about half and those that did survive I know I don't have to worry about losing them until temps drop below 18F....
