Rain! Started early in my shift, lightly at first, and has continued. We so need it. I hope it's also falling up in the mountains to recharge the rivers. The streets all have streaks of froth, presumably from engine-cleaning additives in oil and fuel, and most of the gutters are running Bay-wards since the drains are clogged with leaves, but I didn't see any flooding requiring me to pull the blockage out. Blóting in the park for Harvest was complicated but I got the second match to stay alight long enough for the hallowing. I noted a small amount of foam coming out at the base of the trunk on several trees - I hope that's not bad, the poor things have had to wait so long for water.
