The store door banged all night, and when I stuck my face outside it was like being slapped with a hot washcloth. When I left it was still very dark, with low clouds, and the bus had a spray of water on the side windows - either there was actually a rain shower in San Jose, or someone had a sprinkler go way out of control. No rain in our area though, and it became quite hot later.
