I've run into a ginger and white cat in our front yard and driveway a few times. One morning he or she was very put out indeed when I appeared. Much angry miaowing back over the shoulder at me for (apparently) forcing him or her to leave. I tried to explain that I had no problem with kitties continuing to do whatever in the driveway and adjacent shrubbery, carry on.
