Since Bear is still alive five months later, after consulting with the vet we took him in for his regular check-up. He loved the car ride as usual, and the ladies on the desk all loved on him, and I think the doc. was amazed how well he's doing. However, when it came time to check his blood pressure, the intern couldn't find a pulse in his leg. Nor could the vet. assistant. Nor could the vet himself, who finally gave up and told us to bring him by again next weekend. He is apparently so hairy, his veins are full of hair.
