Rain was starting when I took Bear out last night before putting together my dinner bag and cadging a ride to the bus stop; it was steady by then, and it appears to have rained all night; the door was banging and on the walk back from the bus this morning I needed my umbrella for the first time this winter. There was apparently a shower yesterday afternoon, too. This is excellent, although I was just thinking yesterday that the grass could do with a mowing.
