I finally got to see a space shuttle. The housemate was alerted that they were due to fly Endeavor over Moffett Field, piggybacked on a Jumbo Jet, between 9 and 9:30 am - nothing when we were walking the dogs, but 15 minutes ago, I heard a Jumbo Jet roar over the house, so I ran out of my room, hurdled a dog and a garden hose, and the housemate helped me find it - heading towards San Jose in a lazy curve. Beautiful - much more so than on TV. I'll miss those silly romantic things.
