A bit of a suburban kerfuffle. When the housemate returned yesterday afternoon from communing with the cards, there was a large white car parked halfway across the end of the driveway, so she had to park at the kerb. The thing looked almost new, which isn't unusual around here, and didn't look as if it had been broken into and abandoned, although it was parked a generous distance from the kerb, at the end where there was kerb. And there was a perfectly good space past the next driveway. Still there at mid-morning, so I persuaded the housemate to call the local cops. When the cop had reached the owner and they'd come and removed it ... we got an embarrassed e-mail from a neighbour we know. All's well that ends well. When we returned from Costco, nobody was blocking the driveway, so we were able to unload in the shade.
