D.O.P.-T.

We drove to a branch library in San Jose to pick up reserved books. Pretty sunshine, cherry trees in bloom, the hills green in the distance with paths winding up into the oaks. Traffic was surprisingly heavy in places and there were a lot of cars at the library, but it wasn't crowded inside. Then I decapitated still more dandelions and gave the potted plants their weekly watering. Monty and Pru watched me from the fence-top as I clambered up on the kitchen stepstool and pulled seedlings out of the top of a downspout on the garage.
