D.O.P.-T. (day before yesterday)

The cleaners inadvertently left us their fuzzy-ended cobweb removal / high-ceiling molding dusting tool. I took it for a tour around the corners of my bedroom then propped it outside our front door, but they haven't come back to reclaim it.

There are now at least 3 houses near us standing empty, 2 with realtors' signs but not yet offered for sale. Probably more, given that I don't usually peep into windows, and there are many blocks I rarely even walk down. All three are large houses, too - 2 are relatively new. The third has been home to one of the best Hallowe'en lawn displays, and the local free-roaming bunny rabbit.
