Perils of having a dog ... the other day I was retrieving poop from the grass in back when I was bitten or stung on the upper thigh. Probably a bee or a hornet, since I react relatively less to those; all I feel is an uncomfortable bump, whereas if it were an ant bite it would be a large, madly itching swelling. And probably not a spider, since I'm still alive.

Have you developed any strange new powers? Able to crawl up the sides of buildings or something?

Fortunately, no. My docs don't think I should even climb stepstools.
