Lavalamp effect as it's vivid yet calming. Random scarlet blobs on a non-uniform light green/pale yellow background wash.

It depends very much on the year, trim level, and optional equipment. Generally, for a panel van, a royal blue. That would change, depending upon windows, whether the windows were stock or aftermarket, any customization, &c. Then again, I don't like my vehicles to stand-out too much. I prefer it, when they blend into the background just enough, but not too much.

Ah. It's one of the mid-60s models. Cool. I always liked those.

Yeah, I'd likely do a royal blue, with white roof and trim. There are a lot of really nice creative combinations that could be done with it, and I'd love to see them on someone else's van. But as I mentioned above, I don't like mine to stand out too much. (Even though the vintage of the van would definitely make it noticeable, all on its own. (Less so in Cali, though. I have to admit. I miss some of the vintage cars I used to see frequently on the roads, there.)

Sea-life shading, with a roof-rack for surf boards.

All about the practical: sand. It's light enough to not trap heat, but not enough to make a dirty vehicle obvious.
