It's cooler this evening. But today was the first day of keeping my window cracked open all day; the dog snoozed next to it for hours, though she did lead me on a longish walkies in the morning. And I did a full round of watering can watering.

According to the Chronicle the temperature will now plummet and it may even rain. Hmm.

Been eyeing the temperature trends here, bought myself an air conditioner last week. Spent this weekend adapting the hose from it to fit the window so it'll vent the hot air outside.

And lo and behold... the temperatures defied predictions and went down!

Oh well, we'll need it at some point. No more sweltering in summer any more.

Yeah, sad to say, you need one now. Glad you saved on the electric for now though :-)

Not to concerned about that, getting solar panels installed (like today!) A good sunny day they'll be paying us!

Yeah, at the moment I'm getting an earful from my daughter due to the disruption (she does not like change0 and my next door neighbor because the scaffolding is blocking her satellite tv reception.

Still, it'll be done in 3 days they said...and then the electricity company will be paying us.
