The much abused privet-like bush under the dining room window, which I'm considering trimming, has emitted lots of its little white rose-like flowers. Not all over, in patches.

We clip the flowers as they grow, and put in the house. Pretty.

That's an idea I hadn't thought of. Haven't brought in flowers since college, when I brought back a sprig of wildflowers and got aphids in my room :-)
