A trip to the San Jose library; eventually 12 weeks is over and the books can't be renewed any more. We left early in the afternoon and were lucky with traffic on the way and with finding parking, but coming back we almost immediately hit roadwork and the housemate had to invoke Google to guide us to a highway. I noticed the hills were hazy, but still visible; the next bad air day alert can't be far away.

Yeah, if only the interlibrary loan consortium were better; it keeps losing libraries and those that remain keep deaccessioning things.
