A slim sign with a pointed bottom announcing the 25 MPH speed limit has been placed in the middle of the street about halfway between the park and the major street on the edge of downtown, and a temporary "Your speed is ..." flashing sign on a cart is parked in the gutter near it. Walking past the other day, I noticed all the cars heading in the direction of the park were clocking 30 or above. I hope there hasn't already been a person knocked down.
