This morning the housemate was moaning about her back, and tonight she went to bed early after a day of working mostly standing up. She's been complaining that the dog sleeps on my bed and almost never favors her with her presence at night; my bed is vastly superior in many ways, not being 4 feet off the ground because of an expensive mattress, and always having flannel, plush, and other fuzzy sheets, blankets, and nighties on it. I also appear to make a well-upholstered dog pillow. But last night the dog climbed up onto the housemate's bed and lay down beside her, crowding her onto one side as she wiggled happily in her sleep. After the housemate got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, the dog was curled up blissfully on her pillow when she returned. So she clambered in on the other side and huddled against the wall. Now she will need to visit the chiropractor.
