We went to the San Jose library in the rain; I had to return a ton of books and the housemate had some waiting on reserve. San Jose has to have one of the lowest standards of driving on this continent. People were driving as if they were on the log flume ride at a funfair. Then the library coffee shop was closed for a long holiday weekend. The housemate was extremely unamused.
