Mr. and Mrs. Mallard were in front of the school again today. I suppose the kids may feed them. I hope so; they are nice, and the anti-duck discrimination at the swimming pool is regrettable. The cover on the pool collects balls, incidentally. Usually tennis balls, but the other day two soccer-sized balls were sitting on it. Either children, dog owners, or both - there are many of both around.
