If you could successfully grow any fruits and vegetables you chose at your home or in a nearby allotment/community garden, what would you grow?

Tomatoes and Melons. Both HATE our climate and soil organisms. And that's in a good yr. This one;>!?!

Everything ;-)

Always assuming it wasn't a huge amount of work ;-)

Let's see - proper cooking apples (for my housemate); raspberry, blueberry; tarragon; peaches; grapefruit; dozens of types of greens; more types of squashes than we have; sunflowers (mostly because of past frustrations); cabbages; brussels sprouts; corn. And if could grow anything regardless of climate, tea, and perhaps also cocoa and coffee. Bananas too, and pineapples (a smallish type if any exist). Coconuts. Most other types of nuts. Strawberries for the housemate. Papayas. Plantains for the housemate. Leeks. Broccoli (mostly for the housemate). Mango.

I have infinite space, right?

;-)

And yes, must be nearly lunch time. The mental list keeps growing. I think I'm hungry.

Infinite space and a growing season that would allow? Salad greens, mustard and collard, spinach, romaine. Several squash and cooking pumpkins. Green beans, corn, cabbage. Tomatoes. Enough tomatoes to actually be able to put up. Onions. Strawberries, blackberries, raspberries. Apples, pears, hazelnuts, pecans.
