Yesterday and today, I've made a good start on re-trimming the bush in front of the dining room window. Hot and thirsty work, and I left one corner for next week, but I've managed this time without a ladder, using just the kitchen stepladder, and from inside one can now glimpse daylight over the top of the bush.

( These are the only white versions of those pink flowers that I've spotted this year. )
