Prudence and Monty came for breakfast; Mama Violet came for lunch at least once. Then we drove into San Jose to the library. Less of a hassle getting there than last time, but on the way back there was a burnt-out car at the kerb on the way to the freeway. Looked like it had been an engine fire.
