An even quieter night at work, rainy, cold, and very few customers, one of whom informed me that people 65 and older were supposed to be staying at home, as if he assumed I was retirement age. The bus was as full as usual but the schools are closed because of the virus emergency and the tech companies have been having most people work from home, so it was eerily quiet walking home. Then at noontime the housemate informed me all the local counties were instituting mandatory shelter in place orders with all but essential businesses closed, so I guess I am off work for at least two weeks.
