This year for some reason neither the restaurant on the corner near the store nor the 7-11 decorated their roofs for Xmas. The city didn't put lights in the little trees in the El Camino median either. I wonder why.

Wasn't there a thing about fire hazards posed by xmas lights?

I hadn't heard, and they never seemed to be bothered before. Maybe there was a state regulartion passed in response to the wildfires.
