I loaded up the greenwaste bin to go out next week. There are ivy clippings packed in the middle (a no-no), and on the top a load of camellia leaves from the side yard. They don't compost at all well, but I set aside enough camellia flowers, old and new, to layer the compost, which in recent years has had to eat a lot of vegetable parings in addition to the orange and banana peels, coffee grounds and teabags it always got.
