I now leave work later; on weekdays the traffic is usually already getting bad on El Camino and many people in the neighborhood are setting off for work. This morning a stocky guy with a white ponytail was wheeling his Harley out of a driveway, all the panniers and engine cowling and mudflaps bedizened with airbrushed amber flames.
