D.O.P.-T. (yesterday)

Last night when I dragged myself out of bed and removed my earplugs I became aware that one of our smoke detectors was chirping. It was quite a hunt to find out which one and shut it up by inserting a new battery; the last time the housemate had work done, we were told the city building code had changed and now we have several more than we used to.

Then I went to work and got yelled at by the perpetually angry co-worker. Bleahh.
