Of late, traffic is bad enough around here that El Camino is already slow by the time I leave work. On the other hand, more and more nights, there are almost no cars out there after or even before my mid-shift break. Santa Clara has almost destroyed the night scene there used to be on our couple of blocks, and evidently with the new economy people are so busy they aren't out after curfew and are then in their cars bright and early trying to get to work through all the tech buses and other people's cars.
