Went to the dentist, who did horrible things where that tooth broke off, and I now have a temp in the gap. At one point I had to get up so the assistant could hunt for the old broken-off metal post that had hidden itself somewhere in my clothing. It eventually fell out. I'm not at all sure why they wanted it.
