Yesterday morning I walked the dog in the park while the housemate slept in. On the way there we started seeing lots of parents with small kids in and around strollers, many with small dogs also in tow. Finally at the other end of the park, after keeping safely clear of many such small people lest the dog mistake one for a squirrel or a cat, we found an absolute throng gathered at one end of the playing fields. Apparently they relocated the Easter egg hunt there to have more space than where they previously held it, and were doing it the week before. Fortunately the dog behaved despite the crowd and there were no eggs where she could pick one up.
