I put out all three bins for collection: yard waste, recycling (it's a split cart, paper in one side, plastic/metal/glass in the other), and trash. It took till late afternoon for the recycling to be picked up, so meanwhile after doing some gardening I baled up some cardboard boxes from the garage and propped them against the cart.
