D.O.P.-T. (yesterday)

Since I don't work on Monday nights, the housemate turfed me out of bed and I sat by the door on Hallowe'en candy distribution duty, dressed in black and reading a book about horror films and periodically picking up the huge mixing bowl so Batmen, firemen, and many many princesses could reach in. A surprising number of kids asked whether they should take one or two. A few had very big hands and used them. So we have only about half a bowlful left for the housemate to leave at work. Lollipops and Hershey's milk chocolate were most popular. We might have had more kids if we'd decorated for the holiday, but as it was there were more than I expected.

Then I did Alfablót in the back yard before bed.
