The white cat has not gone after all. She came down off our porch to say hi and consider the car when the housemate was about to ferry me to the bus stop last night. (I was as usual running late.) I petted her and she then moved away from the car. She may be eating or co-eating the food I've put out. I hope the tatty grey cat is still around and also getting some.
