The meadow in front is no more. I cut down the pretty purple flowers, large and small, ripped out almost all the clover (it had gone to seed and some had progressed to the dead brown stalks stage), then mowed. On top of work in the back yard earlier in the week, that filled our green waste bin to the brim.
