Cleared the side yard except for the violets and a squirrel-planted avocado seedling that I haven't had the heart to rip out, and planted a few potatoes that had sprouted and a line and a bit of pole/runner beans. These are mostly the traditional red, but some are more from the packet of purples. A few of the purple seedlings are starting to peep out in the older bed - plus the inevitable morning glories.
