My co-worker worked her shift early and left as soon as I arrived, so I dealt with the madhouse all by myself. One guy spilt beer in his pocket all over his money; one couple got tetchy when the lady could not decide which of five vibrators she actually wanted and I could not keep everybody else waiting any longer. Otherwise, I survived. The bus home was free and correspondingly crowded. It is forecast to go down to 29 degrees tonight; luckily it hadn't yet. The crew putting in a new stone path at a house on my way home from the bus had sprayed down the sidewalk; it wasn't yet an icerink.
