Currently reading during empty time at work and on bus: Franconofurd 2, about the double burial under the Frankfurt cathedral. Recently finished: Girls and Science, a 1978 thesis that is a statistical study of why girls do less well in science (and at home the same author's 1981 follow-up collection of commissioned essays). I got called out on the bus to explain what I was reading - luckily it was the one in English.

Oh, the double burial at the Bartholomaeuskirche? That...would be fascinating. Would that my Deutsch was still remembered to an extent that I could read the thing.

Sadly, it's been thirty-five years of disuse, and my command of the language hasn't so much rusted as withered.
