Had to go to my doctor's on my day off, which turned out to be a Heat Advisory and Spare the Air day, so I took it slowly and after noting that trees are dying or dead on both sides of Mathilda Ave and this ill-considered pastiche is nearing completion:
I stopped to document the wide variety of apartments in that section of town.
The oddest/most unfortunate name, and an eccentric building:
and another odd style, but the name, Villa Cerise, must have seemed more appropriate when the walls were ochre and the awnings were cherry red - presumably the roofs were also then red.
There's also another old farmhouse still there alongside a now busy road; even has a barn next to it.
