D.O.P.-T. (day before yesterday)

The night bus usually plows full-tilt through traffic lights at pink, with honking. (Some nights I suspect the snoring would be sufficient warning to cross traffic.) One night recently it suddenly came to a halt a quarter of the way into the San Tomas Expressway, then actually backed up with horn tapping. Must have been a cop car at the intersection.
