The shaky POS software at work couldn't handle the newfangled credit card swiper to which we were upgraded, so we lost several sales struggling with it and then having it remotely redirected back to the old card swiper, which caused the cash register computer to freeze ... in the end the last two shifts were pretty much a bust as a result. Then I missed my stop to get off the bus, and walking home from the next one was stopped twice by the cops looking for a missing woman who neither looks like nor is dressed like me. Maybe I should spend my day off in bed.
