I note with a bit of sadness that one of the houses that changed hands this year was the one with the aluminum boat permanently moored in the driveway, collecting a thunderous rain of acorns every year. They stuck a dummy ghoul dressed in a tattered wedding gown behind the wheel one Hallowe'en and just left it there - for the actual holiday, they were the ones that had another ghoul emerging from the hedge, really well done, it actually scared me one dark morning returning from work. I hope they are scandalizing some more uptight community now.
