I walked to the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden (it's just past the Rosicrucian Museum).
They have the rose bushes in beds by variety, separated by mostly well tended lawn.
There are clumps of redwoods at the corners
and benches, and a few flowering cherries for spring color. A raised lawn area in the background here is apparently a stage.
There were people practicing dance and martial arts routines, and this person writing away. And three ducks.
They live in the pond and are not to be manhandled, harassed, or fed bread because it is bad for them.
