Had a spectacularly bad fake $100 bill presented to me at work. With silver foil stuck on, and the detection pen made a big black mark on it.

Yeah, minus several billion points to that would-be customer for not really even trying.

So, how bad was the bill? Was it even blue-green?

It was within the acceptable color range, but the paper was glossy, the copy was slightly blurred, and the foil strip was much too wide. I should have looked at what they'd done about the watermark, but I was busy keeping eye contact with the shifty boyfriend who presented it; and they won't be able to pass it anywhere else with that black mark. As it is, I managed to save the merchandise but failed to save the test pen - the girlfriend and I were scrupulously polite to each other as she made only the original half of her purchase, but at some point she swiped the pen.

*Chuckle.* They'll be hard-pressed to find paper that pen won't mark, I expect.
