The liquidambars are opening their buds on branches still laden with last year's brown seed balls. The pool in the park had leaves dusted all over the bottom; the underwater Roomba was determinedly trundling through them, but the ducks were elsewhere this morning. The sun has come out, shining on glistening grass and .... there was a new batch of dandelions in the meadow in front of the house.
