I must be getting less scared of dogs. On the way home from the bus stop I came to a house where a young family moved in over the summer, only to find a brindled and white pitbull, I assume theirs, standing in the driveway near the front door - outside the fence around their front yard. I said hi to the dog and continued on my way, but as I was about to pass out of sight it decided to start growling and take a few steps forward. I did not flee, as I once would have. Dogs do tend to attack me more often than other people, but I hope they soon discovered the dog was loose outside and brought it back inside, rather than that they thought it was safe leaving it on guard like that.
