My dog has been spending increasingly large parts of the evening in the housemate's study, where there is an air conditioner and more room next to the desk chair to lie down in stroking range. The problem is that this drives the housemate's dog into paroxysms. He's retaliated by sneaking into my room and scarfing up my used tissues and prying open my snack bag.
